Pay Range : $60.00 / hr. – $65.00 / hr.

Contract Duration : 6 to 12 Months (possible extension)

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Design Engineer specializing in Body Exterior : Body Structure (Sheet Metal). This role is based onsite in Long Beach, CA and supports a dynamic, fast-paced automotive development environment.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automotive seat design and engineering, demonstrate strong initiative, and operate with autonomy. This role requires a first-principles approach to problem-solving, robust engineering fundamentals, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of 2nd row seat systems including structures, mechanisms,

foam, and trim.
