As the Head of IT & Business Analytics, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and ongoing operations of the company’s technology infrastructure, data analytics initiatives, and digital transformation strategy. This position will oversee all aspects of information technology, security, operations, systems, networks, and software applications. Additionally, you will lead the business analytics team in leveraging data to provide valuable insights for decision-making and operational improvements.

In this position, you will be expected to collaborate with senior executives to align technology and analytics strategies with overall business objectives. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and cost efficiencies through the effective use of technology and data analytics. Strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT systems and trends, as well as a strategic mindset are essential for success in this role. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the technology landscape and data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

This position reports to the CFO and is based out of Providence, Rhode Island.

As the Head of IT & Business Analytics, you will have an opportunity to :

Develop and implement a comprehensive information technology strategy that supports the company's overall business objectives as well as ERP Consolidation and Digital Transformation.

Collaborate with various departments to identify business opportunities, optimize processes, and improve overall performance through the use of data-driven insights.

Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Oversee the strategic direction and implementation of data analytics initiatives to drive business growth and decision-making.

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new technology systems and solutions that enhance business performance and enable growth.

Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity program to protect the company's assets and data.

Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to understand their technology needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the technology organization.

Manage the technology budget and ensure that expenditures are aligned with the company's strategic priorities.

Develop and implement a talent management strategy to attract, retain, and develop top technology talent.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for technology and data management.

Help the organization gain a competitive edge, identify market trends, and make informed decisions that drive business success.

Develop and implement data governance policies, ensuring data quality and security, and staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies.

You have :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

10+ years’ experience in information technology.

5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business acumen to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for the organization.

Multiple ERP and WMS consolidations and implementations, specific experience with SAP and Netsuite.

Extensive experience in Ecommerce ecosystems, specifically Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful technology strategies in a complex, global organization.

Strong business acumen and ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.

Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.

Strong cybersecurity expertise and understanding of current threats and trends.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization.

Experience working in the outdoor industry or other consumer-facing industries is a plus.
