Job Title : Structural Designer

Location : Chicopee, MA

Shift : 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Monday - Thursday, 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Friday

Pay Rate : $50,000 Annually (+ based on experience)

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop structural plans, drawings, and specifications for various packaging projects.
  • Collaborate with sales and production to ensure structural designs meet project requirements.
  • Utilize software such as Artios CAD to create detailed structural models.
  • Perform calculations and analysis to determine load capacities and structural integrity.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and equipment.

Qualifications :

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Structural Designer or similar role.
  • Proficient in using design software such as Artios CAD.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design concepts.
  • Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

    • Note : Graphic design skills are not directly relevant to the role of a Structural Designer.
