Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Longmont, Colorado.

  • Epic Systems Corporation – EpicCare Inpatient EMR

    • Unit Notes / Hiring Process

  • Hiring Process :

    • Profile review with MedSol Clinical Team

  • Interview with Unit Manager at the facility
  • Radius Requirement :

    • 60-mile radius rule

  • Driver’s License must be submitted
  • Orientation Requirements :

    • Clinician must be in-state during orientation week

  • First-day modules may be completed remotely

    • Unit : Cath Lab RN

    Lab / Procedure Area Details

  • Number of Cath / IR Suites : 2
  • Average Cases per Day : ~4 (mix of Cath + Interventional Radiology )
  • Patient Types :

    • STEMI

  • NSTEMI
  • Pacemaker patients
  • IR patients (combined Cath / IR lab)

    • Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • ACLS

    • Required Experience

  • Cath Lab experience required
  • IR experience preferred or willingness to learn

    • Job Duties

  • Circulate and monitor Cath and IR cases
  • Pre- and post-procedure patient care
  • Pre-procedure and post-procedure patient calls
  • Support combined Cath / IR workflow

    • EMR & Equipment

  • Epic
  • MacLab
  • Siemens systems

    • Cardiologist Coverage

  • Cardiologist on-site during the day
  • On-call overnight

    • Leadership

  • Manager : Tara Horne
  • Nurse Coordinator : John Crane
  • Cath Lab Techs : (If you'd like, I can help clarify titles / coverage.)

    • Shifts & Scheduling

  • Shift Structure :

    • RNs work 4×9-hour shifts per week or 4×10-hour shifts

  • Self-Scheduling : Not specified
  • Block Scheduling : Not specified but can be added if needed

    • Call Requirements

  • Weeknight Call :

    • Approximately 10 nights per month

  • Weekend Call :

    • Every 3rd weekend (Fri–Sun)

  • Holiday Call :

  • Shared among staff
