A company is looking for a Character Rigger (Realistic) on a freelance basis. Key Responsibilities Develop complex, realistic rigs for both biped and quadruped characters, including facial rigs and muscle systems Create clean, animator-friendly control systems with robust deformation capabilities Collaborate with modelers to ensure clean topology and proper joint placements for deformation Required Qualifications Proven experience as a character rigger with a portfolio showcasing high-fidelity rigs Expertise in Maya; experience with rigging tools such as AdvancedSkeleton or mGear is a plus Deep understanding of anatomy, joint mechanics, skin weighting, and deformation Experience with facial rigging systems, including blendshapes and joint-based solutions Proficiency in Python / MEL scripting for automating rigging tasks
