job_description.job_card.job_descriptionFocus on 75% Glaucoma and 25% General Ophthalmology, including Cataract surgery Participate in shared call rotation Work with a dedicated support team : Scribes, technicians, Surgical Coordinators, Nurse Practitioners, Research Coordinators, and administrative support Board Certified / Eligible in Ophthalmology, with completed fellowship in Glaucoma Located less than 60 minutes from NYC Convenient train and airport access nearby Proximity to beautiful beaches for relaxation and recreation A vibrant community with great shopping, local wineries, fitness centers, and outdoor activities including walking / biking trails and water sports Short ferry ride to Connecticut with scenic views Top-rated private and public schools available Local airport just 20 minutes from the hospital; several international airports within 1 hour Train service to NYC available within 15 minutes
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary : $305K + production
- Sign-On Bonus : $10k - 15k
- Relocation assistance provided
- PTO : 14 paid holidays + 30 additional days off including sick time (accrues yearly)
- CME : $5k
- Covered expenses : License, DEA, State Surcharge, Professional organization memberships, and societies
- Educational repayment available for eligible Non-Profit Employer assistance with PSLF
- Comprehensive medical benefits through Empire BC / BS, extensive retirement / pension offerings
- Retirement : 403(b) with exceptional NY State pension contributions
- Pension : Employer contributes 8% of annual salary, vested after 3 years
