Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Summary

A leading provider of valves, valve parts, diagnostic technologies, and maintenance / testing services to commercial nuclear power customers is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This role leads full-cycle financial operations and delivers strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency. The analyst will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to align financial strategy with business goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Free Cash Flow).
• Build and maintain operating plan models using historical and market data.
• Submit accurate financial reports using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Create and present Operating Plan and Forecast decks to leadership.
• Perform variance analysis (actuals vs. plan, forecast, prior year).
• Analyze product mix and market performance; collaborate with market managers.
• Lead monthly forecasting including backlog, ship profit, and facility-level results.
• Conduct product profitability analysis and develop action plans for low-margin products.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, and Marketing on pricing updates.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and automation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through standard work and kaizen activities.
