Schedule : Full time, 5 8's Days Assignment Duration : 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending Hourly Rate : This position offers an hourly rate between $55.00 to $57.00 which equates to $2,200 to $2,280 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek. Per Diems : Lodging : $136 per day and Meals & Incidentals : $80 per day Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,512 per week. Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly Rate based on a 40-hour work week + Per Diems) : Between $3,712 to $3,792 per week Benefits : Paid sick leave, Paid holidays, Co-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Cafeteria plan access and 401(k) retirement plan. Summary : The Cath Lab Technologist provides specialized technical expertise in the performance of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. The role is responsible for operating imaging equipment, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Essential Functions : Prepares patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operates fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems during procedures. Scrubs, circulates, and monitors as part of the procedure team. Ensures compliance with hospital, state, and federal guidelines for patient care and safety. Provides radiation safety and equipment operation expertise to physicians and staff. Maintains sterile technique and assists with supply management, inventory, and equipment calibration. Responds quickly and effectively to emergencies in the Cath Lab, demonstrating advanced critical thinking and clinical judgment. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and departmental process enhancements. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Ensures timely documentation of procedures and patient information in compliance with organizational standards. Qualifications : ARRT (Radiography) with CV or RCIS certification required. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Minimum 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting. Experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and radiation safety practices.
