We are looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will take ownership of planning and executing impactful events, conferences, and marketing initiatives that align with organizational goals. This position requires someone who is highly organized, capable of multitasking effectively, managing competing priorities, and bringing expertise in event planning and marketing, particularly within the financial services industry.

Location :  Boston, MA or New York City, NY (Remote not available)

Working Hours :  9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM EST

Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented  Event Coordinator  to support our program managers in executing high-impact events and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in event logistics, budget management, and marketing communications—preferably within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist program managers with event logistics, sales communications, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate deliverables for smaller industry conferences, including booth setup and promotional materials.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payment of invoices in collaboration with Accounts Payable.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and event-related communications.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in event marketing and / or marketing communications.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong experience in budget management and invoice processing.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (required).
  • Experience with CVENT and Salesforce (preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Interview Process :

  • Round 1 :  Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Round 2 :  Zoom meeting with the team.
  • No formal test is required, but candidates should be prepared to discuss relevant experience and demonstrate organizational skills.
