Receptionist Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage front desk operations efficiently. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in creating a positive and organized office environment.
Responsibilities :
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and directed to the appropriate staff or department.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and kitchen area, including ensuring coffee is prepared and available.
- Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, answering and directing them appropriately.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
- Provide support to team members with clerical duties as needed.
- Handle inbound calls in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and assist with inventory management.
- Monitor and manage the reception area to ensure it remains tidy and presentable.
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain effective communication and workflow.
- Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Requirements :
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone system and handling switchboard operations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to remain organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.Detail-oriented approach and a friendly attitude.Capability to work part-time hours as required.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
