Summary : The Manager of Engineering Management is primarily responsible for leading the Engineering Management of Airgas’ AMG capital investment projects supervising a team of Project Engineers. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing projects, as well as supervising one or more engineering teams, internal or external.Airgas business is growing, it is strategically key to secure competitive offers. The competitiveness resides in the CAPEX and OPEX and full integration in the grid. Minimizing the Total Cost of Ownership and time to market is the key challenge for the next projects.
Support AMG West Zone with engineering support and CAPEX management
Contribute to the Project Management COP and mentor; manage a team of engineers and technicians
Develop and maintain a set of standards for third party engineering to design in accordance to AL applicable GTs and GDSR.
Develop relations with engineering partners having the capability to perform design to cost, be flexible and support projects during all phases.
Lead design reviews and ensure that operational concerns (reliability, efficiency) are addressed during the early phases of the development - target the lowest TCO.
Manage TAR process to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Compliance with all applicable regulations and company directives.
Safety and environmental regulations and policies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering / related field or equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
10 years of engineering and Project Management experience in the industrial gas industry
Capital project experience in the $15-$75M range.
Technical experience in Cryogenics or Air Separation required
Ability to efficiently communicate with team mates, third party partners and contractors and senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
15 years of engineering and Project Management experience in the industrial gas industry preferred
Technical expertise in design / engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of ASU / Liquefier, CO2 and N2O plants.
