Job Summary
The Center for Academic Community Engagement is currently offering several teaching assistant (TA) elective experiences to admitted and / or enrolled Western students in all colleges through integrated apprenticeship laboratory instruction and mentoring during the WesternU SHPEP Summer Health Professions Preparation Program ( SHPEP ). This TA elective provides multiple opportunities for students to relay their expertise and provide mentorship to undergraduate pre-health professions students enrolled in the SHPEP . Classroom and afternoon dispersed curriculum assistance and gross anatomy lab teaching are areas of expertise needed.
Required Qualifications
1 Education : Any combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. BS / BA degree high preferred 2. Experience : 1-2 years experience in a related field. Previous experience in and academic and / or health care setting is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to individuals possessing a bachelors degree.
