The Opportunity

The position is for a King Air 200 line pilot for UT Flight Ops located in Memphis, TN. Pilots airplane to transport passengers, mail, freight, or for other purposes. Will also assist the Chief Pilot with occasional office administrative duties.

Responsibilities include :

  • Pilots airplanes to transport passengers, mail, freight, or for other purposes.
  • Reviews information to ascertain factors such as load weight, fuel supply, weather conditions, and flight route and schedule. Pilots airplane to destination adhering to flight plan and regulations and procedures of federal government, university, and airport.
  • Logs information, such as time in flight, altitude flown, and fuel consumed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Qualifications

    Required Education & Qualifications

    The successful candidate must have :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 500 hours multi-engine airplane
  • Must have at least 100 hours in the last 12 month in a multi-engine
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an excellent safety record.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    The preferred candidate will have :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Airplane Transport Pilot Certificate
  • King Air 200 Initial Training
  • Garmin Avionics Experience
  • 500 hours in a turbine-powered airplane
  • 100 hours in the last 12 months in a turbine-powered airplane
  • Flight experience in a crew environment
  • Microsoft Office computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
