Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, JCL, and enterprise-level financial systems. This role involves supporting and modernizing legacy systems, including database integration and migration to modern technologies such as Java or .Net. Ideal candidates will have a background in large-scale banking environments and a passion for modernization initiatives.

Location : Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX / Chicago, IL - 3x hybrid

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL and JCL
• Strong database skills with DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Experience with .Net or Java, particularly in modernization or migration projects
• Familiarity with MQ integration using CICS / Cobol and Batch / Cobol
• Knowledge of Mainframe modernization and integration with mid-range technologies
• Background in large enterprise financial or banking environments
• Experience with commercial card systems or payment platforms is a plus
• Prior exposure to modernization efforts involving MQ, Java / .Net, or financial transaction systems preferred
