Overview

OPEN POSITION : Physician - Urologist

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. Other schedules negotiable.

Locations : Gilbert, Arizona; Goodyear, Arizona; Glendale, Arizona. Physicians may choose to work in a single office or multiple locations.

Position Details

The practice has three offices in the greater Phoenix area and the new physician may choose to practice at any location. The average number of patients per day varies by need and physician preference. Visits are scheduled based on the estimated length of time needed to ensure optimal attention for each patient. All patients are adult and geriatric.

If desired, physicians can work with the support of a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.

  • Examine patients
  • Assess medical conditions
  • Diagnose disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
  • Treat disorders related to the reproductive organs, urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys
  • Monitor disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
  • Perform procedures and treatments
  • Prescribe medications as needed
  • Refer patients to other specialists as needed

    • Physicians work with clinical assistants who room and prep patients, as well as assist during the visits. The practice utilizes the Athena EHR.

    On-Call & Scheduling Details

  • On-call duties are every 4th week, including weekends.
  • On weekends, APPs are in the first position to cover call (including rounds), contacting physicians only if escalation is needed.
  • During the week, APPs cover call from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm; physicians are responsible for overnight coverage.
