Base pay range

$50.00 / hr - $72.00 / hr

GloballyHired has been engaged by a real estate investment firm in Washington, D.C. to hire a Portfolio Manager for immediate hire. This is a temporary, hybrid role responsible for overseeing multi-asset portfolios, optimizing returns, and ensuring long-term investment performance.

As a Real Estate Portfolio Manager, you’ll oversee the financial and operational performance of multiple assets, monitoring returns and conducting in-depth financial analysis to guide investment decisions. You’ll collaborate with investors and senior leadership to ensure portfolios align with strategic objectives and market conditions.

In addition to portfolio oversight, you’ll evaluate capital improvement opportunities, assess risks, and support acquisition teams on new deals. You’ll also take the lead on repositioning underperforming properties and shaping long-term strategies that enhance overall investor returns. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings advanced financial modeling skills, and has a proven track record of driving portfolio growth.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in real estate portfolio or asset management.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis skills.
• Proven ability to identify underperforming assets and execute turnaround strategies.
• Strong knowledge of D.C. real estate markets and investment fundamentals.
• Experience preparing reports and presentations for institutional investors.
• Leadership skills to manage analysts or cross-functional asset teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with executives and investors.

Compensation

This is a temporary hybrid position in Washington, D.C., with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. Compensation ranges from $50–$72 per hour, depending on experience.
