Patient Service Representative

Practice patient service rep. proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.

Position Requirements :

Education and Previous Experience : High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Hardware / Software Experience : Practice management / medical billing computer programs.

Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)

Other Characteristics : Excellent oral / written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Detailed oriented. Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections). Flexible; able to adapt to change. Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus.
