We are currently seeking a Data Center Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

This position is on-site at the client's office in Buffalo, NY.

Job Responsibilities Include :

  • Data Center's single point of contact for incoming calls and group email.
  • Interacts with multiple ticketing systems in order to organize the teams daily Change Board and workflow.
  • Verifies that all visitors to the Data Center floor meet NTT's Access Requirements.
  • Escorts vendors to the Data Center Floor.
  • Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management.
  • Backup Tape Handling.
  • Basic hardware support.
  • Intermediate hardware (break / fix), troubleshooting ethernet connectivity issues and replacement of hardware components.
  • Installation / De-installation of hardware, cabling and maintaining of database.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and planning session as required.
  • Other duties as directed that support world class management of the Data Center.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 1+ years of Data Center Ops experience
  • Must have a covid shot and annual flu shot
  • Must have a car and a valid license

  • Positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and team oriented.
  • Ability to conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members, vendors and customers (Internal and External).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to type 25 wpm.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Technical experience, technical aptitude or A+ Certification is a plus.
  • Solid time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Time management.

    • On-call rotation is a must.
