Location : Holyoke, MA 01040 (Western Massachusetts)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room

Unit : Emergency Department (includes locked behavioral health unit)

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : March 2, 2026

Duration : 8-week contract

Shift : Night, 4x12-hour shifts / week (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36–48 (facility prefers 48 hours / week)

Number of Positions : 2 ER RN travel jobs available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860–$2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license (no emergency or pending licenses)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS (CPI training provided onsite)

Preferred : TNCC, ENPC, Trauma Level I experience, previous charge nurse experience

Proven ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced ED environments

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care to all ages in a busy Emergency Department

Efficiently triage and manage patients, including those in the locked behavioral health unit

Perform IV sedation, interpret / manage dysrhythmias, and administer procedural sedation

Provide care for ventilated patients and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more

Accurately document patient care and participate in ongoing training (28 orientation hours provided)
