Are you a seasoned accounting professional with your CPA looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an Assistant Controller for our client in the Toledo area that will play a key role in the overall success of the accounting & finance operations. What you get to do each day :
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS).
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and process improvements.
- Provide mentorship to accounting staff and act as a backup for the Controller.
