The Team

Black & Veatch's Fuels and Natural Resources (F&NR) Team provides services from consulting, design, full engineering, procurement & construction (EPC), and commissioning & start-up for LNG facilities, Floating LNG facilities, gas processing & NGL fractionation, gasification & gas to liquids, hydrogen, and ammonia & fertilizers.

Our knowledge, capabilities, and innovation include our proprietary PRICO® technologies. This enables our team to assess and choose tailored solutions with greater quality and efficiency for our clients. The value chain spans natural gas, natural gas liquids, midstream, wholesale markets, power generation, and utility segments.

The Opportunity

As Senior Electrical Engineer , you will have the opportunity to :

• Work as a Technical Expert or Project Lead performing all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
• Support projects encompassing a variety of areas such as Hyrdocarbon Processing (HPI), hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizer, FLNG, LNG and new energy.
• Explore various technologies within the process space to expand your skillset and knowledge.
• Develop electrical drawing deliverables including :

One line and three line diagrams

If you want to grow and further develop your technical skills in the Gas, Fuels and Chemicals (GFC) industry alongside our most talented engineering professionals and clients - this is an excellent opportunity for you! Although project experience in gas, fuels and chemicals (GFC) is preferred, we are interested and excited to consider candidates with any Power Generation Facility design experience (i.e. Power Plants, Nuclear Plants, Hydrogen Facilities, etc.).

The selected candidate must be located or willing to relocate to our World Headquarters location in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City) , or one of our Flagship Offices in Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC.
