CYNWAVE Solutions, LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitor (Shift Lead) to oversee cleaning operations at the VA Medical Center. The Shift Leader will supervise janitorial staff during their assigned shift, ensuring all duties are performed according to healthcare facility standards and in compliance with infection control protocols. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for veterans, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities :

• Lead, train, and support janitorial staff throughout assigned shift.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness meets VA and company standards.
• Assign work duties and manage staff schedules.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Ensure staff compliance with safety procedures, PPE use, and infection control policies.
• Communicate issues or needs to the Site Supervisor or Program Manager.
• Provide hands-on cleaning support as needed to meet workload demands.
• Complete shift reports and hand-off notes for incoming shifts.
• Address and resolve minor staff conflicts or performance concerns.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner.
