CNC Operator

Job Description : As a CNC operator, you will cut and bend sheets of metal using a hydraulic

brake press / turret or laser CNC machines. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the

job by lifting and maneuvering large sheets of metal and ensuring that the machines are operating

correctly and that pieces are cut to perfection. Needs to be a problem-solver, troubleshoot

problems, perform repairs, and be mechanically skilled.

Before starting the position, you will be required to pass a drug screen and background check

Wage : $19.00 to $25.00 depending on experience

Shift differential of $3.50 per hour will be applied once working the 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm shift.

Swing Shift : 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm Monday through Friday. Will train on days shift 7 : 00 am to

3 : 30 pm for about 2-4 months before moving to swing shift.

Responsibilities :

• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different projects.
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to

produce improved results.
