Our client, an electric vehicle manufacturing company, is looking for a Bill of Materials Analyst to join their Product Development team in Irvine, CA! This is a 6-month initial contract and is a hybrid role so local candidates are required.

This role focuses on creating and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) in CATIA throughout all phases of the program. The Bill of Materials Analyst ensures the accuracy of the Operations BOM (OPS BOM) by validating change actions, supporting CRBs, and aligning variant codes for efficient engineering workflows.

Contract Duration : 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 6 month of Automotive Bill of Materials experience in same / similar role
  • Create and maintain the Engineering Bill of Materials in CATIA throughout the duration of the program

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create and maintain the Engineering Bill of Materials in CATIA throughout the duration of the program
  • Baseline all content from the Design BOM to the Ops BOM with correct variant codes to make engineers life easier when they create CAs
  • Help DREs go through all CAs for Pre-production releases, Production releases and any corrections / changes
  • Validate and verify every Change action to make sure the correct data is getting into the OPS BOM
  • Do the BOM work in CATIA to reflect the changes that engineering needs
  • Support CRBs for any last minute changes needed
  • Run validations every week to maintain the accuracy of the OPS BOM
  • Support all ProjectEx questions with the finance team
  • Create all deviation part numbers
