Job Summary :
Micron isseekinga highly motivatedProbeEquipment Technician tomonitor sustain and improve equipment in their assigned area. This position requires collaboration withoperations team members area equipment engineers and tool vendors to ensure efficient tool performance in a Technicians support fabrication processing at the forefront of innovation for the worlds leading memory and storage solution provider Micron Technology. Responsibilities :
Monitor system performance using key metrics and promptly investigating and resolving tool issues and fault detection alarms to ensureoptimalavailability.
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on probe test cells and support equipment; accurately document all activities.
Apply systematic problem-solving skills using the Effective Problem-Solving (EPS) framework toidentifyroot causes andapply corrective / preventive actions.
Follow all safety and work procedures while applying creative independent thinking whenappropriate.
Coordinate tool installation and qualification while collaborating with internal Probe teams and external partners.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems applying knowledge of AC / DC circuits basic electronic components and strong mechanicalproficiencyto ensureoptimalequipment performance.
Stand forlong periods walk several miles per shift lift 2540lbsoccasionally and perform tasks requiring bending crouching or kneeling while navigating safelyover uneven terrain or within confined spaces to perform job duties effectively.
Maintain situational awareness toidentifyhazardspromptly andconsistently wear required PPE ( garments eye protection) to protect product quality andmaintaina safe contamination-free environment.
MinimumRequirements :
Associate degree in relevant technical fields such as Mechatronics Electronics or Robotics and / or 2 years of experience inmaintainingmanufacturing equipment automation and / or technicalmilitary experience.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on / 4 days off and 4 days on / 3 days off) progress between day and night shifts every 4 monthsand adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations.
2 years of experience in using mechanical electronic and PC / software skills to fix and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.
Preferred Requirements :
4 years experience inmaintainingmanufacturing equipment automation and / ortechnical military experience.
4 years experience in leading projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement with a focus on meeting scope schedule and budget requirements.
Familiarity with common Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and their uses.
