Corporate Counsel

SoftBank Robotics, the global leader in robotics and workplace task automation, is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our fast-growing team that is making the future attainable today through artificial intelligence and robotics. The ideal candidate for our SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA) team understands that automation is the next big technological shift comparable to the introduction of the smartphone and wants to be a part of the movement, helping clients successfully transform their businesses processes and teams through cutting-edge innovation.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel and remote work is possible. The SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA) Law Department provides business and legal support to the Company’s operations in the United States. The Corporate Counsel is responsible for supporting the Company’s (including affiliated entities’, as needed) business by providing support for corporate governance, commercial transactions, and cross-functional operations with the employment, finance, product, and IT teams.

• Support global expansion and high growth robotics business.
• Assist with corporate filings, audits, and developing policies and controls.
• Review, revise, and negotiate Sales Agreements, NDAs, Loan Agreements, Master Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
• Advise on compliance with complex federal and state regulations including product safety, importing / exporting, OSHA, and data privacy and security.
• Work closely with the employment and finance teams from onboarding to state and jurisdiction level registrations and reporting.
• Collaborate with the IT and product teams on information security matters, data security agreements, and third-party vendor onboarding.
• Other duties as assigned
