Ongoing dates, 2 hospitals are about 18 minutes apart from each other

Hourly + All travel expenses

Credentialing : 6-8 weeks

Work Schedule : Swing shifts, day shifts, & nights; Days are usually 6 : 30 AM 6PM

Nights are usually 5 : 30PM-7AM, Swing shifts are 11 : 30am - 10 : 00pm

Also, there are no call shifts. They are all in house shifts.

Patient Volume : 400 Surgeries per year

Procedures : Trauma & Acute Care

EMR : EPIC

License : ID - Will wait for a license.

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, BLS, DEA

Relevant Exp / Skill Set Needed : High volume Level I or II, working on Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Teams

Additional Info : Candidate needs to have experience in high volume, Level I or II trauma centers, working on a Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team. We are a busy Level II with a large geographic footprint, and we are the only resource within the region for definitive care. Our team covers not only trauma, but also 100% emergency general surgery / ED unclaimed, and we anchor the trauma / surgical ICU. We don t require that our APPs have critical care privileges, but it helps if they have ICU experience as third tier to their trauma / acute care surgery experience. For NPs, we do not require that they have First Assist certification, but they need to be able to function as first assist for OR cases.
