Job Description

Position Overview :

Responsible for conducting ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments. Conducts protective advance operations.

Supporting ongoing development and implementation of general and program specific security processes and procedures to include planning, implementation, oversight, monitoring, analysis, reporting and assistance in the execution of security operations.

He / she performs specific and limited portions of broad assignments under the direction and oversight of an experienced Project Manager.

Essential Functions :

• Facilitate safety, ES &H, PHA / PSM audits for clients.
• Facilitate PSM compliance at terminal operations.
• Audit and ensure compliance of driver qualification, equipment files, contractor and lease site safety plans, and practices.
• Audit contractor and lease site safety plans and practices.
• Ensure maintenance of all facility inventory lists and Safety Data Sheet files.
• Regulatory and third-party audits.
• A high degree of accuracy pertaining to all aspects of security.
• Locate, identify and collect required information for documentation on Excel spreadsheets, and apply barcodes.
• Develop and submit reports with documentation of all job activities.
• Be aware of possible business development opportunities for the firm.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Required Skills : This position requires an ability to work collaboratively within team environment and take direction from supervisory staff. The position holder will have to be able to work independently and be self-motivated in completing assigned tasks. They must also have strong multi-tasking skills, very organized, be capable of performing well under pressure, and possess excellent communication skills.

A creative, detail-driven, team player, assist their team to achieve high-quality design, deliver projects on schedule and on budget, while being attentive to innovative opportunities for process, plan, or project improvement.

Positions reporting to this position : None.

Organizational Relationships :

This position reports to the assigned Project manager on a day-to-day basis for projects where the position acts as a team member. He / she is expected to work collaboratively with team members, other internal groups, and clients.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

In performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to sit as a desk while using the computer for extended periods of time and will occasionally stand or walk normal distances. They will be required to work out of doors as needed, while observing a facility. The employee will occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and must have normal sight, speech and hearing ability.

Nationwide travel of up to 10% is required.
