We are seeking a   Physical Therapist to make a difference with students within a school setting in Littleton ESD.   Must be licensed as an Physical Therapist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Orange Tree Staffing is seeking Physical Therapists to "Build and Inspire Growth" by providing education-based services to students in Avondale, AZ. PTs will assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop teaching plans to meet them. We are seeking those who enjoy working with a bright and dedicated multi-disciplinary team that focuses on life-long learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Physical Therapy Service in all placements across the Districts.
  • Provide progress reports for students as a result of therapeutic intervention.
  • Provide Physical therapy screenings and consultation services to determine need for evaluation.
  • Provide screenings, initial evaluations, and re- evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for occupational therapy service.
  • Attend professional meetings and IEP Meetings to consult with parents, students, and school personnel.
  • Provide professional training for school-based and District personnel.
  • Provide training for parents and family members on techniques that they can implement at home for student.

SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Physical Therapist
  • Thorough knowledge of therapy best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
  • Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and committed
  • Creative and energetic
  • Strong moral values and discipline
  • AZ Physical Therapist License
