Qualifications
VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Drafter Cad Operator IV. Minimum qualifications :
Education : Associate's degree from a school in drafting or illustration (desired) or high school diploma or GED.
Experience : Two (2) years with degree or five (5) years with HS / GED of experience drafting / illustrating in the electronics field, to include : computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD, planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items. Experience with DoD processes and procedures. Proficient at utilizing Model-Base System Engineering (MBSE) tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler. Utilizing DevSecOps tools for model automation and integration such as Cameo Modeling Connector for Eclipse, Cameo Simulation Player, Cameo Data dictionaries, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Jira. Secret level clearance required.
Job Description
This operator works closely with design originators, preparing drawings or computer models of unusual, complex, or original designs that require a high degree of precision, performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise. This incumbent assures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation, and operation are resolved by the drawing produced, exercises independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on knowledge of the design intent. Although working primarily as a drafter, this worker may occasionally interpret general designs prepared by others to complete minor details, may provide advice and guidance to lower-level drafters or serve as coordinator and planner for large and complex drafting projects.
Essential Duties of the Job
Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
