Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a behavioral health provider serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. We opened in February 2022 and now offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our modern 120-bed facility offers specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.

The Director of Utilization Management oversees the department including, but not limited to : utilization review, case documentation, payer relationships, regulatory requirements, staff management and department administration. They support the overall success of the hospital and promote patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance and optimal reimbursement.
Qualifications
Education and experience : Master's degree in social services, human development, nursing, business, or related field required. Registered nurse licensure required. Licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC, MFT or similar AZ Board of Behavioral Health licensure preferred. 8+ years in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting as a treatment team member or 5+ years of experience in utilization management for both mental health and substance abuse behavioral health disorders required. Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
