Position Overview

Technology Designer II leads the technology design effort to produce construction documents for the assigned technology scope which includes but is not limited to Communications Security and Audio Visual (AV) systems.

Responsibilities

• Use Revit to produce drawings for a variety of projects
• Prepare and lay out BIM drawings ensuring coordination with all other disciplines at all phases of project production including schematic design design development permitting and construction documents
• Perform Construction Administration (CA) duties such as responding to Submittals and RFIs
• Communicate status on projects evolving and revisiting workflows as necessary to maintain project efficiencies
• Maintain accurate time tracking in the project management system
• May attend meetings with designers and engineers architects owners code officials / AHJ and other construction professionals
• Perform site visits and create site report documentation
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
