Quality Inspector

Vector's partner located in Cleveland, OH offers a complete package of stainless steel pipe, tubing, fittings, outlets, thread tape, flanges and valves as well as the nation’s largest, most comprehensive inventory of  both leaded & lead-free cast brass fittings, flanges and pipe. They are looking for a Quality Inspector  to join their team!

This is a Direct Hire opportunity

2nd Shift (M-F 3p-11 : 30p) $ / hr. + $ / hr. shift diff = $ / hr.

Responsibilities :

• Perform in-process inspections of cut-blanks, stamped and threaded nipples according to specifications during the manufacturing stages
• Perform first piece inspections and approve manufacturing set-ups
• Perform final inspections of washed nipples according to documented processes
• Communicates timely and regularly on any required adjustments to manufacturing supervisors
• Inspect, measure and document special orders (as needed) prior to packaging
• Perform inspections of purchased products according to the defined criteria and measurements using standard physical and mechanical gages
• Accurately maintains documentation of traceability information and the results of inspections and testing
• Strive to achieve company production metrics including reduced errors, on-time delivery, accuracy and customer service in a cost-effective manner

Ensures work areas and operations conform to safety requirements and are hazard free

Requirements :

Willingness to work overtime as needed.
