Certified Medical Assistant | Spokane, WA

The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks and coordinates patient care within the MA-C license scope. This position is dedicated to providing occupational medicine patients with the best possible care through excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff, and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care while promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Work Environment

This role is set in an outpatient clinic environment, typically managing an average of 20 patients per provider per day with 1-2 providers per clinic per day. The position offers opportunities for training on the job to provide x-rays with an additional $1.75 / hr differential after being hired for 90+ days. Further training opportunities are available to become federally certified for DOT / Pulmonary Function Tests / Audio Testing. You will work closely with patients, guiding them through the workers' compensation and claims process, advocating for their recovery, and playing a vital role in their return to work.

Work Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 45 AM 4 : 30 PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 / hr.
