About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Executive is responsible for providing oversight and coordination across multiple active construction projects. This role manages the day-to-day operations of 4 to 8 assigned projects and is accountable for ensuring project safety, achieving revenue and margin goals, and maintaining overall project performance. A key responsibility of this position is client retention through strong relationship management, ensuring alignment with Linbeck’s principles, processes, and standards of excellence. The Project Executive also serves as a strategic resource in supporting new business development efforts and fostering long-term client partnerships.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial construction with at least 8-years in a leadership role managing complex projects valued between $50 million and $100 million.
- Proven experience delivering projects in the healthcare, cultural and / or education sectors.
- Deep construction expertise with the ability to provide technical guidance and ensure constrction best practices are followed.
- Stgrong business acumen and client management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
Primary Duties
Develop direct reports by setting clear expectations, ensuring accountability, supporting professional growth, and conducting performance reviews.Develop and execute client stewardship plans for assigned accounts.Monitor project financials and manager change management procedures and cost accounting standards.Provide timely and accurate reporting through standard company tools (e.g., Dashboards, QBRs, PFRs, Billing Reports).Create and manage project schedules, maintaining a thorough understanding of progress and statusOversee preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, schedule development, constructability reviews, billing, cost reporting, and value management.Physical Requirements
Must be physically fit enough to function safely on a project site and office setting. This includes the following :
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer with repetitive movements.Must be able to use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization's physical premises.Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, and copiers.Hearing, vision, and speaking within normal ranges are essential for normal conversations, receive ordinary information, and prepare or inspect documents.Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers.Additional Requirements
