Wayne Health and Wayne State University in Detroit seek a Forensic Pathologist for an exciting position with a unique and diverse case mix. This role offers a voluntary faculty appointment with opportunities to teach medical students, pathology residents, forensic pathology fellows, and pathologists’ assistants and engage in research and publishing in a supportive environment. Scene investigation is optional, and you will have phone-only call duties evenly rotated for nights and weekends. The successful candidate will work with a seasoned team, including full-time photographers, medical investigators, pathologists’ assistants, clerical support, and autopsy technicians. Structured workdays prioritize pathologist balance, creating an enriching professional environment.

- Candidates who are certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic pathology are preferred; however, consideration will be given to candidates who are board-eligible in AP & FP and will be successfully boarded in both within 2 years
