Federal Construction Quality Control Manager

Outside The Box, LLC is a General Contractor specializing in construction and renovation work for the federal government.  We are currently looking to hire a Quality Control Manager for project work at Joint Base Charleston , with a minimum of 10 years Federal experience, who is able to get clearance for federal projects. Must possess Federal construction experience in multiple fields : Federal, historic building, civil / site / utilities.  Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly responsible person, with outstanding organizational and communication skills who can grow with the company. QC Manager :

• Job Status : Full Time.
• FLSA Status : Exempt.
• Reports To : Project Manager.
• Grade / Level : 4 year degree.
• Travel Required : Yes, as needed per project.
• Work Schedule : Various | Positions Supervised : Laborers, Sub Contractors.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Quality Control Manager will supervise and inspect three phases of control and tests- Preparatory Phase, Initial Phase, and Follow-up Phase. The QC Manager will conduct weekly preparatory, safety and coordination meetings. The QC manager will review all submittals to ensure satisfactory requirements are met in compliance of contract specifications and design drawings. The Quality Control Manager will ensure project quality control monitoring & tracking, through compliance with all corporate, local, provincial and federal workplace laws, rules and regulations. They are responsible for avoidance reduction and control of costs associated with workplace accidents and injuries. The QC Manager will perform as an internal resource and consultant to management and supervision in identifying and alleviating workplace hazards.
