Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a Buyer for their client in Newark, NJ location. Employment Type : Full-Time. Education Required : Bachelor's Degree. Experience Level : 1+ Year of Buying Experience (Public Procurement Preferred). Pay : $39.67 per hour.

Position Summary : The Buyer supports client's Purchasing Department by sourcing vendors, obtaining competitive quotes, processing purchase orders, and ensuring all procurement activities comply with hospital and state regulations. This role partners closely with internal departments to acquire goods and services efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and evaluate suppliers for assigned commodities and services.
• Obtain quotes, analyze bids, and recommend vendors for best value.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders within established thresholds.
• Prepare and manage Request for Proposals (RFPs) and contract documentation.
• Communicate delivery details and coordinate with departments and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, contracts, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and support audit requirements.
