Adjunct Instructor For Biomanufacturing Process Development
The School of Professional Studies is seeking an adjunct instructor to develop and teach a new course in Biomanufacturing Process Development as part of a planned three-course undergraduate-level certificate in Biomanufacturing, designed for professionals with prior experience or academic background in the life sciences or related technical fields.
The course will be delivered in an online and / or hybrid semester-based format tailored to part-time, adult learners seeking to deepen their expertise and advance their careers in the biomanufacturing industry. Emphasizing both upstream and downstream process development, this course will go beyond foundational concepts to explore advanced strategies, technologies, and regulatory considerations that drive process optimization and scalability in modern biomanufacturing environments.
The instructor will bring deep subject matter expertise and current industry insight, supported by MCPHS leadership and industry collaborators to ensure the course aligns with evolving workforce needs and best practices. Working closely with a project manager and instructional designer, the instructor will play a pivotal role in launching this new certificate program. Depending on interest and availability, the instructor may also be invited to develop and teach the second and third courses in the sequence, further contributing to the growth and success of this strategic initiative.
