Nebraska Lifestyles Property Management is a fast-growing property management company specializing in single-family homes and small multi-family properties throughout Omaha and the surrounding area. Were currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
About the Role :
As a Maintenance Technician, youll play a vital role in keeping our properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. Youll handle service requests, make-readies, and preventative maintenance to ensure our homes meet quality standards while utilizing business-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities :
Complete tenant and owner-requested work orders efficiently and professionallyTroubleshoot, inspect, and repair issues ranging from appliances, to plumbing, to electrical and morePerform make-ready service for vacant homes, including basic repairs and cosmetic touch-upsMaintain landscaping and exterior upkeep as neededInspect and maintain HVAC systemsEnsure all work meets safety standardsCommunicate effectively with residents, coworkers, and contractors in a professional mannerAccurately document work completed and materials usedMust be willing to obtain Lead-Based Paint Certification (company-paid)A physical demonstration of your ability to complete basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
What Were Looking For :
1+ years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or related fieldStrong working knowledge of residential systems and general repairsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to follow directions independentlyA self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitudeExcellent communication and documentation skillsMust have a valid drivers license and clean driving recordSchedule :
8-hour shift, Monday-FridayOn call 1-2 weeks a monthSome overtime is availableCompensation & Benefits :
