Project Manager Position
Waco Family Medicine (WFM) is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead the system-wide coordination and implementation of a new initiative to improve and expand Waco Family Medicine's services to pediatric patients. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, driven, and resourceful. This is a grant-funded position with funds that extend through September 30, 2027, at which every effort will be made to extend funding or transition into other available role.
The Project Manager will coordinate clinical and non-clinical activities included in the initiative action plan. Clinical or professional experience serving pediatric populations is valuable but not required. The Project Manager will interface with clinical and operational staff to ensure that all teams have the resources and support to successfully implement activities included in the initiative plan.
Project Manager Duties
- Project Coordination :
- Coordinate meetings and communication of pediatric initiative working group
- Manage the detailed initiative plan with timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Ensure initiative stays on schedule and within budget
- Operational Leadership :
- Ensure optimal functioning of pediatric hotline and related patient-facing services
- Support clinical leadership and practice managers as needed in implementing clinic workflows related to initiative priorities
- Coordinate partnerships with local school districts to facilitate school-based pediatric services
- Marketing & Community Engagement :
- Collaborate with marketing and communications team to develop and disseminate high-quality internal and external communications regarding pediatric services
- Engage with patients and community stakeholders to promote WFM's pediatric services
- Data and Reporting :
- Collaborate with WFM informatics team to track outcomes data related to initiative activities
- Prepare regular written and verbal reports on initiative activities and outcomes for initiative working group, WFM executive team and other stakeholders
- Financial Management :
- Partner with WFM grants and finance teams to track and manage grant-funded expenditures
- Manage vendor purchases and invoices
- Collaborate with WFM grants team to identify and apply for additional funding sources to support initiative activities

Reports To : Chief Operating Officer
Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in either health care administration, business operations or project management. Clinical experience or experience serving pediatric populations is welcome but not required.
