Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Controller to join our team, offering an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. This role involves gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial data while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Corporate role, with a desirable small-town environment, in Enid, Oklahoma . This role requires on-site officing. in Enid, OK, with assistance provided.

Controller Position Overview :

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will play a critical role in coordinating financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and leveraging strong business system skills.

Controller Key Responsibilities :

Set clear objectives and realistic goals, overseeing a support team of 9 Staff Accountants

Ensure timely reconciliation of financial statements monthly

Develop and maintain cash flow strategies across all companies

Ensure accurate balancing of bank statements each month

Conduct weekly inventory research and analysis

Controller Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)

CPA certification (preferred)

Strong experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and business systems, especially QuickBooks, Excel, and PDI

Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
