Maintenance Technician

Location : North San Diego

Pay : $28-$32 / hr

GENERAL OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Insures that all equipment is started up and shut down in line with company safety guidelines for equipment under power per Cal–OSHA requirements.
• Help with the execution of improvement of process quality, increased efficiencies and reduction of waste as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Assists and supports technicians and operators in meeting departmental and company goals.
• Executes preventative maintenance program on all equipment and insures that all records are maintained as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components and insures efficient operation of all equipment as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Recommends, and maintains proper spare part inventory levels as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Helps in the installation of equipment as necessary.
• Calibrates testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment per manufacturer’s specifications as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Provides training for all operators on proper equipment operations.
• Assists Plant Management in maintaining departmental efficiencies and yields.
