Qualifications :
- Licensed PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC for 3 years.
- Experience in a residential treatment setting (adolescents preferred, but experience with adults considered as well).
- 4 years of experience working with adolescents (preferred, however, adult experience considered) in substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
- 2 years of clinical care and management / supervisory experience in a residential treatment or acute care environment.
- Familiarity with current legal standards related to professional practice, reporting obligations, and professional boundaries.
- Management experience leading a team of 5 direct reports.
- Understanding of the 12-step recovery model (e.g., AA, CA, NA, Al-Anon).
- Experience with the following modalities : CBT, DBT, somatic, trauma-informed familiarity (required); EMDR or a trauma-specific modality / substance use / dual diagnosis (preferred).
- Strongly preferred : California Board of Behavioral Sciences approved supervisor.
- Preferred : Proficiency in evidence-based individual and group treatments for clients with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring issues.
Job Summary :
Lead clinical care and daily operations of a residential dual-diagnosis adolescent program (substance use and mental health) in Riverside County.Provide trauma-informed, developmentally attuned, and family-centered leadership to help stabilize families and guide recovery.Oversee delivery of therapy services, clinical programming, and treatment planning to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, payer requirements, and maintain audit readiness at all times.Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate clinical staff, fostering professional growth and team alignment with clinical standards.Partner with residential staff, medical providers, education services, and family services to coordinate individualized, cohesive treatment.Monitor program KPIs, staffing models, and resources, implementing operational improvements to strengthen outcomes.Provide hands-on leadership that blends clarity, warmth, and structure, supporting staff and families through times of crisis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance treatment delivery, program performance, and family engagement.Contribute to strategic planning, program development, and organizational growth initiatives.Benefits :
