About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Accounting to spearhead its financial operations, treasury, consumer lending, and enterprise risk management. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting, as well as supporting strategic financial initiatives. Key responsibilities for this executive role include overseeing the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS, managing internal and external audits, and maintaining strong internal controls. Additionally, the role involves leading treasury and consumer lending activities, such as cash flow strategies and third-party lender negotiations, and driving company-wide risk management and strategic financial leadership.

Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 public accounting and SEC reporting for a public company. The role requires at least 5 years' in a senior leadership position with direct team management, strong technical accounting and research skills, and extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
