FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Location : Columbia, SC

ARC Group is currently recruiting for a Field Technician with experience with compressed air systems. Are you a hands-on technician with a background in mechanical and electrical systems? A leading industrial services company is expanding its team in the Columbia, SC area and is looking for a skilled technician to service and maintain advanced compressed air systems.

Your Day-to-Day :

Provide on-site service, maintenance, and emergency repairs for compressed air systems
Perform scheduled PMs and troubleshoot system components, including compressors, dryers (desiccant & refrigerated), and master controllers
Accurately complete service documentation and maintain strong communication with internal teams and clients
Work independently and manage company-supplied tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
Help grow the business by identifying new service opportunities and supporting parts / accessory sales

What You Bring to the Table :

Minimum of 2 years in field service, maintenance, or industrial equipment support

Strong knowledge of electrical systems (especially 3-phase power), PLC controls, and mechanical diagnostics

Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex problems on the job

EPA refrigeration certification a plus

Strong computer literacy and comfort using Microsoft applications

Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
