Description :

The CVOR RN will be part of a Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center.

This position requires the ability to manage a variety of surgical procedures.

Candidates must have experience in Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral Valve Replacement, and TAVR (Transaortic Valve Replacement).

Skills in fire safety, cell saver operation, administration of blood products, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management are essential.

Travelers may be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities.

Candidates must be willing to work two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

A strong preference is given to candidates with a valid state license in hand.

References are required from previous supervisors covering relevant employment experiences within the last three years.
