Job Description :

L3Harris Space Systems Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment seeks experience Chief Integration & Test Engineer (CITE) to join our growing Spectral Solutions Division. The CITE will oversee system verification and test planning for the integration of the spacecraft bus, mission payload, and communication payload, culminating in end-to-end testing. Responsibilities include leading a team of I&T engineers through the product life cycle, from initial requirement analysis for testability to designing and developing test plans and flows. This ensures the incorporation of design for test and design for integration practices in system development. Additionally, this role involves defining, planning, and implementing strategies for test, verification, validation, qualification, and acceptance testing. It also includes managing the Test Bed and Simulators used during integration and test activities. The Chief Integration & Test Engineer will collaborate with internal program teams, including systems engineering, software engineering, mission, payload, quality, and operations.

Responsibilities :

• Provide mastery-level system integration and test engineering expertise to a team.
• Lead space hardware and software integration and verification testing at acceptance, proto-flight, and qualification levels for all relevant environments (vibration, thermal, vacuum)
• Develop verification plans, test procedures, and test flows, and lead the execution of test procedures.
• Document test results in reports to ensure system requirements are met.
• Lead requirements verification for components, subsystems, and systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and anomalies during integration and testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams (systems, mechanical, structural, thermal, power, optical, RF, electrical) in development, integration, and execution.
• Represent Space Integration & Test engineering during major system level design reviews including System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Pre-Shipment Review (PSR).
