Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for Machine Operator 2 openings for our Fortune 500 manufacturing client in Stead, NV.
Temp to hire openings
M-F, 6am-2 : 30pm
19.82 per hour
Responsibilities :
Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines / presses
Troubleshoot various machinery problems ...
Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
QC and document all parts run on machines
Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
Inventory componenets and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
Keep work areas clean and safe
Other various duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Working hours : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM
Skills :
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools
Education : High School
Experience : 4-7 years
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
No Relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations
Able to operate machinery and presses safely
Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
Able to identify different gauges and types or raw material
Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance
Must be able to wear required PPE as required by company policy and procedure
