Opportunity Overview

Lead and mentor a small team of mechanical engineers to develop high-quality hardware for RF and optical test equipment, including chassis, PCB interfaces, RF shields, and enclosures. Responsibilities include :

• Create detailed mechanical designs and documentation.
• Perform tolerance analysis for fit and function.
• Design thermal management solutions, from simulation to integration.
• Use tools like SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation for thermal and structural analysis.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on mechanical-electrical interface and layout.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes to meet performance targets.
• Engage with vendors for manufacturability, cost, and lead time optimization.
• Build and test prototypes for validation.
• Apply DFM / DFX practices in design.
• Verify designs through testing and reviews.
• Support manufacturing and assembly improvements.
• Manage SolidWorks PDM system.

Compensation :

The salary range is $155,200 - $244,500, depending on experience and location. We offer comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
